How much do we charge?
For PC or Laptop repairs, My PC Surgery charges £40 for a call-out to an installation at a customer’s own address – this includes the first hour spent on diagnosis and problem resolution. For a PC or laptop delivered to our office, the initial diagnosis charge is £35 for the first hour. Many straightforward problems and repairs may be completed within the first hour.
For any problems that can’t be resolved within an hour, My PC Surgery will provide you with a maximum cost estimate for completion of the job. You can then decide if you wish to proceed. In the unlikely event that I don’t fix your computer, I won’t charge you for any time spent beyond the initial call-out and diagnosis.
My PC Surgery has introduced fixed labour fees for most common hardware replacements and software installations. Some of these are listed below:

Please note that the above prices are for labour only and do not include the cost of any hardware and/or software required to complete the job.
My PC Surgery can also provide tailored computer training at your own address. The standard charge for a one-off training sessions is £40 per hour, with a minimum of one hour. However, if a series of training hours is ordered, a reduced hourly rate will be offered.

Payments
Payment can be made by cash, cheque made payable to ‘My PC Surgery’, or bank transfer.
Payment for on-site and off-site computer repair is due once a repair is completed.
Payment must be made within 14 days. If payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice issue date, all bills will be subject to a £20 late charge fee.
If an amount remains in arrears 30 days after its issue date, an additional 15% penalty will be added.
Warranty
All completed computer repairs are covered by a 30-day labour only warranty, commencing from the date on the original invoice. If the original problem reoccurs within 30 days, My PC Surgery will come back and fix it free of charge. This warranty excludes computer faults caused by software, viruses and end-user errors.
