I’ve just read in the press that we have reached the 30th anniversary since the launch of the good old Sinclair Spectrum. That was my first computer back in 1982. I can remember know how proud I was of managing to program some simple code in Sinclair Basic, and how I drooled over the graphics of games like Knightlore and Underwurlde from Ultimate, the best of the early games developers.
Well, how things have changed! With this rate of progress, what is the next 30 years going to bring in terms of personal computing and gaming. The mind boggles.
