This malware displays fake security alerts, reporting that multiple viruses have been detected on your computer.The alerts come in the form of quite professional looking pop-ups and when you click on them, you are advised to buy Live Security Platinum in order to remove the detected threats.
Please don’t be tempted! In reality, none of the reported issues are real and are only being displayed to scare you into buying some worthless software and stealing your personal financial information. Apart from these bogus alerts, Live Security Platinum disables some system utilities, including the Windows task manager and registry editor and blocks you from running certain programs that could lead to its removal.
