New Desktop Build

I’ve just completed the build of a Windows 7 desktop computer based on an intel i5 multi core processor running on an Asus P8Z68-V LX motherboard with 8gb of DDR3 RAM. Its sometimes difficult to decide whether you should build a PC from scratch or simply buy one off the shelf. There is no real price advantage going the diy route, but you do get the opportunity to choose your own components and tailor the build to your own specific requirements.

With one eye on future video editing, my Client wanted a fast processor, lots of RAM and a large hard drive (1tb). The result is a fast machine with a good degree of future proofing (well, at least for the next few years or so)!

Here at My PC Surgery we provide a cost effective build service so if you don’t fancy rolling up your sleeves or don’t have the confidence to handle a screwdriver, let us take the strain when it comes to putting together your new PC.
