New motherboard for Acer Aspire 5536

A client recently brought her Acer Aspire 5536 into the Surgery which had suddenly one day refused to power up with no signs of life whatsoever. This sort of problem can be caused by any number of reasons. Often it can be due to a simple failure of the dc jack and this was one of the first checks we made. However, in this case, closer examination revealed that the failure was actually down to a defective motherboard, so fairly major surgery was called for.

Stripping down and reassembling a laptop calls for patience and care. However, here at my PC Surgery we do it all the time so if you don’t fancy attempting such a job yourself, we can undertake the work for you and return your laptop fighting fit and ready to go in next to no time. Suffice to say that the Acer was up and running again quickly, ready for a few more years trusted service, with a minimum of fuss and disruption.
